Pottery Workshops

Our Beginners and Intermediate Classes continue on Saturdays in January and February 2026.

We pick up again on January 17th 2026 with Saturday classes for our Continuing Skills Development (CSD) course – a six-week course covering all the bases of pottery making. Email Patricia to register your interest now at thepottersyard@gmail.com

Vouchers for all our classes, workshops and studio shop are available by calling to The Potter’s Yard during opening hours.

November – December 2025 : Tuesday to Saturday 10:00am – 5.30pm
September – June : Monday to Friday 10:00am – 5.00pm
Weekends: You are welcome to call, please text first to check we are home.

July/August:  Open Daily 10:00am – 7:00pm

About Patricia

Patricia is an accomplished and experienced potter, working at her craft for over 40 years, who designs and makes a range of sponge printed tableware, hand rolled floor and wall tiles, and patio planters at her studio in South Wexford. She is a founder member of The Wexford Craft Trails and a registered member of The Design and Crafts Council of Ireland. 

Essentially, pottery is a domestic craft, and Patricia’s love of cooking with the produce from her garden inspires her constant search for form and decoration to complement the table and enhance the food’s presentation.

Living close to the sea, its movement and textures are a seedbed for her imagination, inspiring the colours and motifs of her hand thrown pottery with its smooth perfect finish. Made for durability, these pots give quiet pleasure in their use.
